Warwick Equine Clinic is a full-service equine practice seeing horses in Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Dutchess and Westchester counties as well as Northern New Jersey.
The practice handles emergency cases as well as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. MacNamara has over thirty five years of experience as an equine veterinarian practicing at various racetracks and has been involved with racing his own horses, competing eventers and show jumpers as well as pleasure riding. His practice focus has shifted from the racetrack to sport and pleasure horses, with a particular interest in emergency medicine, poor performance evaluations and the diagnosis and treatment of lameness.
Dr. Lowrey has successfully showed jumpers and hunters as well as trained and driven Standardbred racehorses and currently practices primarily at Monticello Raceway.
Although the major focus of our practice is emergency medicine and surgery, lameness diagnostics and treatment of horses used for racing or showing, we see all types of horses including backyard pets and pleasure mounts. We do not do any breeding work, but are available for dystocias, foaling emergencies and medical issues affecting foals and mares.
